The world renowned autism expert Professor Simon Baron Cohen of Cambridge University has written to the Co-Founders of Autism Sunday, British autism campaigners Ivan and Charika Corea. They founded the day now a massive event around the world in 2002 which was Autism Awareness Year in the United Kingdom. AAY was also an idea of Mr and Mrs Corea, supported by 800 UK organisations. It was the first ever occasion of partnership working on autism in the UK on such a large scale.

Professor Simon Baron Cohen hopes that people will have an enjoyable day and that the London Service for Autism Sunday goes well.
