A new film has been released on You Tube to mark Autism Sunday, the first major disability event of 2010. Autism Sunday is the International Day of Prayer for Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. Cathedrals, churches and religious organisations are marking the event around the world, remembering over 60 million people with autism. Janice Cox, a mother of a 7 year old child with autism has released a new film 'Thing Called Autism'on youtube to raise awareness of the serious issues surrounding autism.

Janice Cox, from the United States was recently interviewed on prime time television in America about her poetry on autism and the fact that she is backing Autism Sunday. In the film she focuses attention on the struggles and the joy of bringing up a child with autism.

Care Givers around the world are using Autism Sunday to lobby and campaign on autism. It is now a huge event around the world.

Ivan Corea, founder of Autism Sunday urged parents, carers and people with Autism and Asperger's Syndrome to use Autism Sunday to raise greater awareness of the condition. He welcomed the film 'Thing Called Autism,' released by Janice Cox in the United States and said he hoped that many more parents will release films on You Tube to mark Autism Sunday.
