Autism Sunday received powerful backing from the Archbishop of York, Dr. John Sentamu. The Archbishop wrote to Ivan and Charika Corea, Co-Founders of Autism Sunday. Archbishop Sentamu said: 'I do pray that you will be encouraged by what you see God doing in and through your work. Autism is often a hidden or misunderstood condition.'

Autism Sunday is now celebrated across the world. There are 67 million people with autism across the globe and over 500,000 people with autism in the United Kingdom.
