The UK Autism Foundation was one of the autism charities featured in the Sunday Telegraph of 4th April 2010 when the newspaper published the Media Planet Autism Report to mark World Autism Awareness Day.

UKAF has called for more help and support for poor families with autism. UKAF has also written to Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg asking them to include their Autism Plans in the party manifestos. The party leaders have also been asked to speak about autism on the campaign trail in the run up to the 2010 General Election.
