Prince William and Prince Harry have said they were delighted to hear about the success of Autism Sunday - now a massive event across the world.

St.James's Palace in London contacted the Co-Founders of Autism Sunday, Ivan and Charika Corea on Autism Sunday. It started as a small acorn of an idea in their home, over the years it has developed into a major disability event celebrated across the globe. Autism campaigners have used Autism Sunday as a platform to campaign on the serious issues concerned with autism and Asperger's Syndrome. Awareness raising events have been held all over the world.

Prince William and Prince Harry sent their best wishes to Ivan and Charika Corea who are UK parents and carers of a teenager with autism, Charin Corea. Their son is the inspiration behind all the campaigning on autism and Asperger's Syndrome.

Ivan Corea, Co-Founder of Autism Sunday and founder of the UK Autism Foundation thanked Prince William and Prince Harry for their kind wishes.

There are 60 million people with autism around the world. In the United Kingdom there are over 500,000 people with autism. This year, Ivan Corea called on Her Majesty's Government to reach out to poor families with autism and people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome in the UK and urged the Government to re-build the Autism Clinic in Haiti at the London Service for Autism Sunday held on the 14th of February at All Saint's Church, Woodford Wells - in the London Borough of Redbridge. Hundreds attended the service.
